The Master’s programme normally consists of three year modules and a minor dissertation which has the weight of one subject module and which must be presented as a lecture. (Alternatively a dissertation may be done. An oral presentation of the dissertation is required.) In exceptional cases students may register for more modules than prescribed. Modules are chosen in consultation with the Department and may be exchanged with modules from other subjects. 

Duration of programme: The Master’s study programme comprises a dissertation based on an approved topic.

Minimum: 1 year

Maximum: 2 years

Admission requirements: A minimum result of 65% for a relevant Honours Degree is required for admission, in addition to the approval of the application by the Department.
