Covid Vaccine Gap in South Africa: The Importance of Bachelor's Degrees in Political Science

Covid-19 vaccination in South Africa is moving really slowly, and President Cyril Ramaphosa has been forced to tighten lockdown restrictions.
The situation in South Africa is worrying more than a few people. The African country has vaccinated less than 2% of its population of over 59 million.
Regarding this problem, President Ramaphosa has been forced to order the closure of all schools, to advise people to work from home when possible, ban all indoor and outdoor gatherings (including weddings), limit funerals to 50 people, ban the sale of alcohol to ease pressure on hospitals, to order the closure of all non-essential establishments at 20.00 and to introduce a curfew. All very strict restrictions, in order to prevent a third wave of coronavirus pandemic.
Leaving the restrictions aside, the real problem worldwide is the unfair distribution of vaccines around the world, leaving countries as South Africa, to save themselves from catastrophes, meanwhile, in a global power as the USA, vaccination rates are over the top, with almost 46% of their population fully vaccinated.
As regards South Africa, a slow vaccination has left millions of people vulnerable to infection, leading to a possible or probable death. Also, daily covid cases have increased in the past few months in the African country. In May, daily cases have reached an average of 15000. With them, death rates have also increased to almost 200 per day, and are speculated to keep increasing among cases, if vaccination doesn´t get up to speed.
These numbers only reveal the unfair situation the world is living in. Injustice thrives, and poor countries of the third world suffer the consequences. This reality has been a fact for many years now, but it tends to increase in times of need, like this pandemic, which emphasizes inequality.
