This programme has been approved in terms of the new Higher Education Qualification Sub-Framework (HEQSF).The Bachelor of Commerce in General Accounting aims at providing students with additional academic support and skills development so that they become prepared for the completion of a BCom degree. This qualification is only applicable to those who have passed Mathematics in Grade 12.Admission Requirements
- Students require a minimum NSC statutory requirement.
- Those applicants with an NSC Grade 12 in Mathematics require a minimum Applicant Score of 370.
- The NSC rating achievement is of at least 45% for Mathematics.
- Statutory and Other Requirements
- Candidates will only be able to register for any modules in the second year of study if they have passed at least 32 credits of the modules prescribed in the first year.
- Candidates who were not able to complete all the foundational modules after three years, will not be allowed to re-register for the programme.
