The Master of Laws by coursework and research report in the field of Corporate Law is a 1 year full-time or 2 years part-time degree.

The LLM by coursework and Research Report mirrors the content and fields of the Postgraduate Diploma in Law, but requires far more extensive scholarly research. This route is suited to candidates who are interested in deeply interrogating an aspect of law with the time and capacity to undertake significant independent research.

Candidates should be able to commit up to 20 hours a week to conduct independent research at an advanced academic level. 

Students complete four courses, comprised of the following:The following two compulsory courses:
• Company Law I
• Company Law II
Two of the following elective courses:
• Advanced Contract Law
• Competition Law
• Human Rights and the Market Place
• Intellectual Property Law
• International Business Transactions Law
• International Law on Foreign Investment
• International Trade Law
• Law of Banking and Finance
• The Economics of International Trade and Investment
LLM students in this field must pass both of the compulsory courses at core level. The course The Economics of International Trade and Investment may be taken at non-core level only.In addition, LLM students must complete the course Research Methodology and a 10,000 word Research Report in the field of Corporate Law.
