- Minimum NSC statutory requirements for diploma entry
- Minimum Applicant Score of 310 for applicants with NSC Grade 12 Mathematics or Technical Mathematics.
- Minimum Applicant Score of 325 for applicants with NSC Grade 12 Mathematical Literacy.
- NSC achievement rating of at least 40% for Mathematics or Technical Mathematics or 60% for Mathematical Literacy.
- Be in full-time employment in a related field and present a relevant curriculum vitae along with the application form.
- All applicants must write the National Benchmark Tests (Academic and Quantitative Literacy tests) and submit the scores before their application can be finalised.
- All Diploma in Operations Management applicants have to register for and write NATIONAL BENCHMARK TEST (NBT) before they can submit their application form along with their CV and NBT results
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLICANTS WHO MATRICULATED PRIOR TO 2008
- Full-time employment in a related field.
- Senior Certificate or equivalent qualification.
- Mathematics (HG/SG) or N3 Mathematics 50%.
- Pass two official languages.
- Learners must score at least 24 points on the university’s SPS rating scale.
- Applicants who do not meet the requirements for direct admission, and who have an SPS of 18 or higher, may be referred to write the Access Assessment Battery before a decision is made on whether or not to admit the applicant to the course
