Programme Outcomes:
This is a set curriculum that on completion gives access to the PGCE (cf. Faculty of Education calendar). Students should select two modules from one of the languages n the first level. After completion of this curriculum students must be able to:
a) demonstrate understanding into the development and functioning of man within a diverse social context;
b) demonstrate an understanding into and the application of a valid interpretation of the Bible and be able to apply this in counselling and in judging ethical questions;
c) apply the above-mentioned knowledge to counselling in order to optimise human functioning;
d) work in a problem-solving manner;
e) handle and discuss aspects of the prescribed curriculum either in groups or individually.
